Traffic impacts in Ottawa beginning Thursday, April 15

The following projects will impact Ottawa traffic:

• Highway 417 – The westbound on-ramp from southbound Moodie Drive will close from 11 pm on Wednesday, April 21 until 5 am on Thursday, April 22 for Stage 2 LRT work.
• Edgeworth Avenue will close between Lawn Avenue and Richmond Road from Monday, April 19 until Monday, May 31. Local access will be maintained.
• Hartleigh Avenue will close at Richmond Road from 9:30 am to 1 pm on Friday, April 16. It will close again between those hours from Monday, April 19 until Friday, May 14.
• Highway 174 – Highway 174 eastbound will be reduced to one lane nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am beginning Friday, April 16 and ending the morning of Monday, April 19 for Stage 2 LRT work. The following ramps and lanes will also close nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am:
  • The westbound on-ramp from southbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, beginning Monday, April 19 and ending the morning of Tuesday, April 20
  • The westbound on-ramp from northbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, beginning Monday, April 19 and ending the morning of Tuesday, April 20
  • The eastbound off-ramp to Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, beginning Friday, April 16 and ending the morning of Monday, April 19
  • The eastbound on-ramp from northbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, beginning Friday, April 16 and ending the morning of Monday, April 19
  • The eastbound off-ramp to Champlain Street, beginning Monday, April 19 and ending the morning of Thursday, April 22
  • The westbound on-ramp from southbound Tenth Line Road, beginning Monday, April 19 and ending the morning of Tuesday, April 20
  • The westbound lanes at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, beginning Friday, April 16 and ending the mrning of Monday, April 19
• Walkley Road eastbound will be reduced to one lane between Anand Private and Bank Street from 9:30 am to 3 pm on Thursday, April 15 and Friday, April 16 for Stage 2 LRT work.
• Alexandra Bridge will remain closed to traffic until Monday, June 14 for structural steel replacement work. Cyclists and pedestrians will not be impacted.
• Montreal Road will be reduced to a single westbound lane between Vanier Parkway and St. Laurent Boulevard from Sunday, April 18 until late 2022 for the Montreal Road Revitalization project. Signed detours will be in place and access to local businesses will be maintained.
• Riverside Drive, north of Heron Road to south of the Bronson Avenue on/off ramp has lane reductions in both directions until mid-July for bridge repair.
