What’s new
Here’s the City’s weekly roundup of information in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. You can also get daily City updates on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram:
Covid-19 and Vaccine Updates:
- To date, more than 406,000 doses of vaccines have been administered in Ottawa and more than 40 per cent of Ottawa residents 18 years and older have received at least one dose.
- The age limit for COVID-19 vaccine appointments was lowered to 18 and older for “hot spot” communities and 50 and older for community clinics.
- Visit the City’s updated Vaccine Distribution page to see who is eligible for vaccines, including individuals with high-risk and highest-risk health conditions, and the first group of essential workers who cannot work from home. You can use the OPH COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Screening Tool to see if you can currently receive the COVID-19 vaccine and learn how to book an appointment.
- The City added a new community clinic at the Infinity Convention Centre that can accommodate residents from the provincially-designated “hot spots” in Ottawa. Residents 18 and older in these locations can book an appointment at the Infinity Centre or at any other community clinic through Ontario.ca/bookvaccine.
- The Provincial Emergency and Stay-at-Home Order remains in effect, requiring everyone to remain at home except for essential purposes.
