Hello everyone,
Last Friday we received a phone call from Pastor Kuo Thai Chiang in Kolkata, India. He shared with us that the Covid outbreak in his region is very dangerous and critical.
We have known Pastor KT and his wife Florence for many years and have deep respect for their faithful ministry in serving the church in Kolkata and the two schools they run.
We, together with the Fellowship of Alliance Chinese Churches in Europe and Surroundings (FACCES) have been on missions partnership with the Chinese churches in Kolkata over the past years.
The two Chinese churches in Kolkata are the only two Chinese churches in India. Pastor KT is the only Chinese pastor of these two churches, the two churches also run two full-day English-speaking private schools (kindergarten, primary, middle and high school) with a total of 3,000 students.

The need for prayer of intercession is desperately needed in India (Kolkata) today.
Below is the list of intercession items from Pastor KT:
- India (Kolkata)
1.) Need for Oxygen and medical treatments for Covid patients. Medical aids from many countries have reached our country but the clearance is taking time. Pray for wisdom and logistic demands to be able to transport the medical aids to the needy areas.
2.) Immediate building of oxygen plants to meet the increasing need of the people who are dying due to lack of oxygen in hospitals.
3.) Wisdom upon leaders to unite and support one another, rather than indulge in regional politics.
4.) Right and Appropriate Decisions to be made concerning Covid Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
5.) Maintenance and restrict implementations of law and order during Lockdown
6.) Citizens to be responsible in following SOP
7.) Vaccines to be made available for all soon.
B. Churches & Schools:
1.) Please pray for comfort and peace upon bereaved family members (We have lost two from Grace Ling Liang Church)
2.) Pray for those in the hospitals and nursing homes battling Covid.
3.) Those who are tested positive and have quarantined themselves at home
4.) Elderly who are living on their own, as children are all oversees.
5.) Teachers of both our schools (Grace Ling Liang English School and Ling Liang High School) who are tested positive.
6.) Pastor and ministers of the different churches of our city, who have been infected.
7.) Christians of different churches coming together to pray and help each other

上周五收到印度加尔各答蒋国泰传道的电话，告知这次当地疫情爆发非常紧张危急。
我们认识蒋国泰传道夫妻多年，他们忠心在加尔各答服侍教会和教会开班的学校另我们深深敬佩。
过去多年，我们和欧洲与邻近华人宣道会团契（FACCES），一直与加尔各答华人教会成为宣教合作伙伴。
加尔各答的两间华人教会是全印度惟一的两间华人教会。蒋国泰传道是这两间教会的传道人，教会在当地开办两间全日制英语私立学校（幼儿园，小学、初中至高中），学生合共 3000人。

蒋传道极需要我们的代祷，以下是他列出的代祷事项：
A 印度（加尔各答）
1.) 为新冠感染者需要提供氧气和医疗服务祷告。来自许多国家的医疗援助已经到达我国，但通关需要时间。求神赐智慧给有关负责人，以便能将医疗援助品运送到有需要的地区。
2.) 为能立即建造氧气厂祷告，以满足医用氧气供不应求告急。
3.) 为领导人能应团结一致祷告，使他们互相支持，而不是沉迷于地区政治。
4.) 为政府按照就新冠标准操作程序，能作出正确和适当的决定祷告。
5.) 为维持和限制封锁期间法律和秩序的实施祷告。
6.) 为公民要负责任地遵守标准操作程序祷告。
7.) 为政府能快速给所有人提供疫苗祷告。
B. 教会及学校
1.) 为失去亲人的家庭祈祷，使他们得到安慰和平安（我们教会已经失去两弟兄姊妹）。
2.) 为医院和疗养院中与新冠抗争的病人祷告。
3.) 为那些被检测为阳性并在家中隔离的人祷告。
4.) 为独自生活的老人祷告，因为他们的子女都在国外。
5.) 为我们两所学校（Grace Ling Liang English School和Ling Liang High School）的教师祷告，有好几位被检测为阳性者。
6.) 为加尔各答城各教会被感染的牧师和传道人祷告，求神医治他们早日康复。
7.) 为加尔各答城众教会的基督徒能同心一起为疫情祈祷，让我们能在疫情中互相守望扶持。
