Traffic impacts in Ottawa beginning Thursday, May 13

The following projects will impact Ottawa traffic:

• Highway 417 – The following lane reductions and ramp closures will take place from 8 pm on Friday, May 14 to 6 am on Monday, May 17 for bridge repair work, weather dependent:
  • Highway 417 westbund, between Lyon Street and Parkdale Avenue, will be reduced daily to one lane between 8 pm and 10 am and to two lanes between 10 am and 8 pm
  • The westbund Rochester Street on-ramp and the westbound Lyon Street on-ramp will close
  • The westbund Bronson Avenue on-ramp will close nightly from 8 pm to 10 am

• Highway 417 – The westbound on-ramp from Pinecrest Road southbound will close from 11 pm on Tuesday, May 18 to 5 am on Wednesday, May 19 for Stage 2 LRT work.
• Highway 174 – The following ramps and lanes will close for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
  • The westbound on-ramp from southbound Montreal Road will close nightly from 9 pm Thursday, May 13 to 5:30 am on Friday, May 14. It will close again nightly on Tuesday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 19
  • The westbound off-ramp at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard will close from 7 pm to 5:30 am on Tuesday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 19
  • The westbound on-ramp from northbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard will close nightly from 7 pm to 5:30 am on Tuesday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 19
  • The eastbound on-ramp from Champlain Street and Place d’Orléans Drive will close from 5:30 am on Friday, May 14 to 2 am on Monday, May 17
  • The eastbound off-ramp at Champlain Street and Place d’Orléans Drive will close from 7 pm on Friday, May 14 to 2 am on Monday, May 17
  • The eastbound off-ramp at Tenth Line Road will close from 5:30 am on Friday, May 14 to 2 am on Monday, May 17
  • The eastbound off-ramp to Tenth Line Road will close nightly from 7 pm to 5:30 am beginning Monday, May 17 and ending Sunday, May 23
  • The eastbound off-ramp at Champlain Street and Place d’Orléans Drive will close nightly from 7 pm to 5:30 am beginning Monday, May 17 and ending Sunday, May 23
  • The eastbound on-ramp from Champlain Street and Place d’Orléans Drive will close nightly from 7 pm to 5:30 am beginning Monday, May 17 and ending Sunday, May 23
  • The westbound on-ramp from northbound Tenth Line Road will close nightly from 7 pm to 5:30 am beginning Monday, May 17 to Friday, May 21
• Highway 416 – The following ramp closures will take place at West Hunt Club Road for asphalt repair work, weather dependent:
  • The southbound on and off-ramps will close from 10 pm on Sunday, May 16 to 5:30 am on Monday, May 17
  • The southbound on-ramp will close from 10 pm on Monday, May 17 to 1 am on Tuesday, May 18
  • The southbound off-ramp will close from 1 am to 5:30 am on Tuesday, May 18
  • The southbound off-ramp will close from 10 pm on Tuesday, May 18 to 2 am on Wednesday, May 19
  • The southbound on-ramp will close from 2 am to 5:30 am on Wednesday, May 19
  • The southbound on-ramp will close from 10 pm on Wednesday, May 19 to 1 am on Thursday, May 20
  • The southbound on-ramp will close from 1 am to 5:30 am on Thursday, May 20
  • The southbound on-ramp will close from 10 pm on Thursday, May 20 to 5:30 am on Friday, May 21
• Kilborn Avenue, from Utah Street to Alta Vista Drive, will have intermittent lane closures daily in both directions between 9 am and 3 pm from Monday, May 17 to Monday, June 14 for road resurfacing work. Personnel will be on site directing traffic. Cycling and pedestrian access will be maintained.
• Riverside Drive, from Data Centre Road to Heron Road, will close overnight from 11 pm on Wednesday, May 19 to 6 am on Thursday, May 20 for bridge repair work. Signed detours for vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians will be in place.
• Pretoria Bridge, connecting Queen Elizabeth Driveway with Colonel By Drive, will be closed to traffic on Sunday, May 16, from 6 am to 2 pm for spring maintenance work. Cyclists and pedestrians will be permitted to use the bridge, but may experience some delays
