The City’s new 12-month recycling and waste collection calendar will be delivered by mail to Ottawa households this week. The new calendar runs until June 2022.
You can see the calendar online as well, where you can also sign up for collection-day reminders by email, Twitter or text message. The Collection Calendar app is also available for free on Google Play and the Apple App Store. It delivers waste and recycling collection information, calendars and the latest updates right to your phone or tablet.
Residents are also reminded to put recycling, green bin and waste at the curb any time after 6 pm on the evening before collection day, and before 7 am on collection day.

Need a kitchen container, blue, black or green bin? If you’ve recently moved to a new property without containers or simply require additional bins, use the following links to request delivery of new bins:
