While the Provincial Offences Act Court Office is hoping to resume in-person services soon, people are reminded that the same services can be accessed online at ottawa.ca/poa to promptly exercise any of their options outlined on any notice or ticket.

The services available online include:

  • Payments
  • Dispute a ticket
  • Submit a Motion of Extension of Time to Pay
  • Submit a disclosure request
  • Filing a request for reopening

In addition, a secure drop-off box is also available at the main entrance of the following locations:

  • 100 Constellation Drive;
  • 255 Centrum Boulevard.

If you received an Offence Notice (ticket) or a parking ticket after March 1, 2020, you are asked to promptly exercise one of the options listed on the ticket. If a ticket or notice is not responded to by Monday, May 31, 2021, it will be interpreted that you are not in dispute with the charge and a Justice of the Peace may enter a conviction for the offence. Promptly settling your affairs may also avoid accruing late fees or difficulties in renewing your driver’s licence and licence-plate sticker.

If you are unsure of your options and prefer to speak to someone or require an accommodation, you may call the court services team Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, at 613-580-2400 (TTY 613-580-2401) and press option three (3).
