Traffic impacts in Ottawa beginning Friday, June 18

The following projects will impact Ottawa traffic:

• Highway 174 – The following Highway 174 ramps and lanes will be closed for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
  • The westbound on-ramp from northbound Champlain Street will close nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am from Monday, June 21 to Saturday, June 26.
  • The eastbound off-ramp to Blair Road will close nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am from Monday, June 21 to Saturday, June 26.
  • The eastbound on-ramp from St. Joseph Boulevard at Tenth Line Road will close nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am from Monday, June 21 to Friday, June 25.
  • Highway 174 westbound lanes will close at the Champlain Street interchange from 7 pm on Friday, June 18 to 5:30 am on Monday, June 21. Signed detours will be in place.
  • Highway 174 eastbound lanes will close at the Place d’Orléans interchange from 7 pm on Friday, June 18 to 5:30 am on Monday, June 21. Signed detours will be in place.
  • The eastbound on-ramp from northbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard will close from 7 pm on Wednesday, June 23 to 5:30 am on Friday, June 25.
  • The eastbound off-ramp to Place d’Orléans Drive will close from 7 pm on Wednesday, June 23 to 5:30 am on Friday, June 25.
  • Highway 174 eastbound will be reduced to one lane between Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard and Champlain Street from 7 pm on Wednesday, June 23 until 5:30 am on Friday, June 25.
  • Highway 174 westbound lanes will close between Trim Road and Tenth Line Road from 7 pm on Thursday, June 24 to 5:30 am on Monday, June 28.
  • The westbound on-ramp from northbound Tenth Line Road will close from 7 pm on Thursday, June 24 to 5:30 am on Monday, June 28.
  • Highway 174 eastbound lanes will close between Tenth Line Road and Trim Road from 7 pm on Friday, June 25 to 5:30 am on Monday, June 28.
  • The eastbound on-ramp from Place d’Orléans Drive will be closed from 7 pm on Friday, June 25 until 5:30 am on Monday, June 28.

• Workman Avenue will close at the Roosevelt Pedestrian Bridge on Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20 for Stage 2 LRT work.

• Byron Avenue will close between Allison and Woodland avenues from 7 am to 5 pm daily beginning Monday, June 21 until Friday, June 25 for Stage 2 LRT work.

• Dairy Drive is closed until Monday, June 21 for Stage 2 LRT work.

• Jeanne d'Arc Boulevard South will have intermittent lane closures between Boyer Road and Champneuf Drive daily from 9 am to 3:30 pm and from 6 pm to 10 pm beginning Monday, June 21 until early August for road resurfacing. Cyclist access will be maintained. There will be a detour for pedestrians with signs in place.

• Hawthorne Avenue will be reduced at Leitrim Road on weeknights from 7 pm to 6 am and intermittently on Saturdays and Sundays from 6 pm to 10 am beginning Sunday, June 20 and ending mid-July for road resurfacing. Cyclist and pedestrian access will be maintained with signs in place.
