The Ottawa Police Service has set up a tip line after two more cats were found dead and showing signs of human abuse.

Anyone with information is asked to call the tip line 613-236-1222, ext. 5760.

The number of felines believed to be intentionally killed now stands at six. The cats have all been found in the area bounded by Greenbank Road, Baseline Road, Merivale Road and Hunt Club Road, sparking speculation that there is a serial kitty killer in the west end.

Both the police and the Ottawa Humane Society, which is offering a reward of $5,000 for information that will bring the killer to justice, are taking the deaths seriously.

Police say patrols have also been increased and forensic officers have documented the deaths.

Police say they are not revealing details of the cats’ wounds so as not to jeopardize the investigation.

However, they add that investigators have ruled out the possibility that the deaths were caused by other animals. Some have pointed out that fishers, fierce predators that belong to the weasel family, can kill porcupines and have been reported to attack cats.

Anonymous tips about the cat deaths can also be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or online at crimestoppers.ca.

是的，有些系列杀手有虐杀动物的经历，比如杀死林俊的变态杀手，很早以前作为虐杀动物的变态狂，被网上志愿者追踪，可惜没能阻止他犯下更严重的罪行。

楼上几位不会认为我村警察实在是闲得慌，悬赏缉凶是为几只猫伸张正义，报仇雪恨吧？

以前有个中国留学生把宠物狗的耳朵给剪掉了，引起当地群众的公愤，吓得跑回国了。当地居民争相认领那条狗。。。

法官缺席审判（也可能是通缉令，记不清了），好像他不能再进入加拿大了，名字在海关的罪犯名单上。
