Here’s the City’s weekly roundup of information in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. You can also get daily City updates on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

COVID-19 and vaccine updates:

  • Almost 1.5 million doses have been administered across our City.
  • 83 per cent of Ottawa residents 18 and over have received at least one dose and 74 per cent are fully vaccinated.
  • Residents can drop-in to any community clinic in Ottawa between 10 am and 7 pm to receive a first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine without an appointment.

The latest from Ottawa Public Health

  • Want to feel safer during in-person classes this semester? It’s your chance to get your two doses in before the fall! Check out the uOttawa drop-in clinic for post-secondary students until September 6.
  • A message from Michael Wood, the voice of small business in Ottawa. Get your vaccine as soon as you’re eligible so we can get back to doing what we enjoy most. We all have our reasons for getting the vaccine, what’s yours?
  • If you're a community organization, community leader, faith leader or employer in Ottawa and have a group of people that may benefit from a mobile vaccination team, you should very much click this link!
  • Do you have questions about the COVID-19 vaccines? We have answers available in eight different languages from real doctors at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Check it out!
  • Need a second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine? Our clinics offer both vaccines for same day drop-in appointments, while supplies last. Get yours today at a clinic near you.
  • Remember, you can get a COVID-19 test at an assessment centre, care clinic, or community testing site. Learn more about when and how to get a test here.
  • Visit the frequently asked questions page for more information about COVID-19 vaccinations.
