Here’s the City’s weekly roundup of information in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. You can also get daily City updates on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
COVID-19 and vaccine updates:
- Almost 1.5 million doses have been administered across our City.
- 83 per cent of Ottawa residents 18 and over have received at least one dose and 74 per cent are fully vaccinated.
- Residents can drop-in to any community clinic in Ottawa between 10 am and 7 pm to receive a first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine without an appointment.

In case you missed it
September is coming fast – make sure you’re double dosed before the semester begins - There are several vaccine clinics available across the city, including one at the University of Ottawa’s Minto Sports Complex until Monday, September 6, where students, staff, friends and family can all drop by to get a first or second dose. No appointments are needed for this clinic.
Help keep the ball rolling! Do your part in keeping the City open by getting vaccinated - You can now enjoy indoor dining at your favourite restaurants or pub, hit the gym, catch the latest blockbuster and more. The best way to continue to enjoy these well missed activities and avoid another wave of outbreaks is to be fully protected against the virus. Getting both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has never been this easy.
