The following projects will impact Ottawa traffic:
As a reminder, please note speed signs in construction zone. Orange speed signs are advisory speeds while white speed signs are enforceable speeds.

- Bank Street will close between Rideau and Mitch Owens roads from 5 am on Saturday, August 14 to 6 am on Monday, August 16 and again from 5 am on Saturday, August 21 to 6 am on Monday, August 23. A signed detour will be in place. Local access will be maintained.
- Byron Avenue will close between Harcourt and Ancaster avenues between 7 am and 5 pm daily, from Monday, August 16 to Friday, August 20.
- Highway 174 – The following Highway 174 ramps and lanes will be closed for Stage 2 LRT work:
- Highway 174 westbund between Champlain Street and Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard will be reduced to a single lane from 7 pm on Wednesday, August 18 t 7 pm on Friday, August 20.
- The westbund off-ramp to Champlain Street will close from 7 pm on Wednesday, August 18 to 7 pm on Friday, August 20.
- The westbund on-ramps from north and southbound Champlain Street will close from 7 pm on Wednesday, August 18 to 7 pm on Friday, August 20.
- The westbund on-ramp from northbound Champlain Street will close from 7 pm on Friday, August 20 to 5:30 am on Monday, August 23.
- Highway 174 westbund will close completely at the Champlain Street interchange from 7 pm on Friday, August 20 to 5:30 am on Monday, August 23. A signed detour will be in place.
- The eastbund on-ramp from southbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard will close from 7 pm on Friday, August 20 to 5:30 am on Monday, August 23.
- The eastbund on-ramp from northbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard will close from 7 pm on Friday, August 20 to 5:30 am on Monday, August 23.
- Highway 174 eastbund will close completely at the Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard interchange from 7 pm on Friday, August 20 to 5:30 am on Monday, August 23. A signed detour will be in place.
- Highway 417 - Closures of eastbound exit ramp at Bronson Avenue and westbound access ramp at Lyon Street are scheduled to begin on August 23 and 24, 2021. Ramp closures are required to replace retaining walls, noise barrier walls and repair existing infrastructure along Highway 417.
- Iris Street will close between Adirondack and Parkway drives from Monday, August 16 until early September. A signed detour will be in place. Buses on the Transitway will be rerouted between Iris and Baseline Stations. Expect impacts to bus route 58 on Iris Street. Visit octranspo.com for more information. Pedestrian and cyclist access across the Transitway will be maintained.
- Metcalfe Street will have intermittent lane closures between Isabella Street and Wellington Street from Monday, August 16 until October. Signs will be in place to direct traffic. Local access will be maintained.
- McLeod Street will have intermittent lane closures between O’Connor Street and Elgin Street from Monday, August 16 until October. Signs will be in place to direct traffic. Local access will be maintained.
- Parkglen Drive will close between Andover Place and Woodroffe Avenue from 8 pm on Friday, August 13 to 6 am on Monday, August 16.
- Terry Fox Drive will have intermittent lane closures between Castlefrank and Hazeldean roads beginning the week of August 16 to September.
