417 westbound off-ramp at Pinecrest to close November 2

The Highway 417 westbound off-ramp to Pinecrest Road will close to the public overnight on November 2 until summer 2023. Motorists are encouraged to follow alternate routes, noted on the graphics below, to reach their destinations through the duration of construction. Cycling and pedestrian routes will remain open.

The closure is required as part of the work on the Stage 2 O-Train West extension. A trench will be built on the north side of the highway, to allow the train to travel under Pinecrest Road and highway ramps.

The following detours will be in effect during the closure:

From Hwy 417 to southbound Pinecrest Road

• Exit westbound Highway 417 using Woodroffe Avenue North
• Left on to Carling Avenue
• Left onto Pinecrest Road

From Hwy 417 to northbound Greenbank Road

• Exit westbound Highway 417 using Woodroffe Avenue South
• Right onto Baseline Road
• Right onto Greenbank Road
