The following projects will impact Ottawa traffic:
The following Highway 174 ramps and lanes will be closed for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
A section of Montreal Road under Highway 174 will close nightly between 10 pm and 5:30 am until Saturday, November 6. The westbound Highway 174 on-ramp from northbound Montreal Road, and the eastbound Highway 174 on-ramp from southbound Montreal Road will also be closed. Signed detours will be present.
The following Highway 417 ramp will be closed for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
A section of Hunt Club Road at the Airport Parkway will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 7 am on Wednesday, November 3 until the end of January for Stage 2 LRT work. Visit: Hunt Club Road lane reductions starting November 3 for more information.
The following Airport Parkway ramps will be closed for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
Riverside Drive southbound is reduced to one lane from Data Centre Road to Heron Road until June 2022.
The following roads will be temporarily closed for the installation of the Rideau Canal Skateway changing and washroom facilities:

- Teron Road, from Chisholm Court to Bethune Way, will be closed to traffic starting Monday, November 1 until mid-December for the installation of a large diameter culvert. Local traffic, pedestrian and cycling access will be maintained and a signed detour will be in place. Busses in the area will be on detour, visit OC Transpo’s website for route changes.
- Highway 417 will have nightly alternating lane closures beginning Monday, November 1, between Eagleson Road/March Road and Terry Fox Drive in both directions to allow work on the centre pier of the Marianne Wilkinson Pedestrian Bridge. Please drive with caution and watch for signs. The pedestrian bridge remains closed overnight on weeknights from 9 pm to 6 am during the rehabilitation activities. Signage will be placed on site in advance of the closures.
The following Highway 174 ramps and lanes will be closed for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
- The westbound on-ramp from northbound Tenth Line Road will close nightly between 9 pm to 5:30 am until Saturday, October 30.
- The westbound on-ramp from southbound Trim Road is closed nightly between 9 pm to 5:30 am until Saturday, October 30.
- The westbound on-ramp from northbound Montreal Road will close nightly between 9 pm and 5:30 am from Wednesday, November 3 until Friday, November 5.
- The westbound on-ramp from southbound Montreal Road will close nightly between 9 pm and 5:30 am from Monday, November 1 until Saturday, November 6.
A section of Montreal Road under Highway 174 will close nightly between 10 pm and 5:30 am until Saturday, November 6. The westbound Highway 174 on-ramp from northbound Montreal Road, and the eastbound Highway 174 on-ramp from southbound Montreal Road will also be closed. Signed detours will be present.
- Southbound Montreal Road will be reduced to one lane under the Highway 174 interchange until mid-November.
- Edgeworth Avenue between Lawn Avenue to Richmond Road will be closed until Sunday, October 31. Local access will be maintained.
- Byron Avenue will close between Woodland Avenue and Harcourt Avenue daily from 7 am to 5 pm, until Sunday, October 31.
- Byron Avenue is closed between Lockhart Avenue and Sherbourne Road daily from 7 am to 5 pm, until Sunday, October 31.
- Iris Street between Adirondack Drive and Parkdale Avenue will be closed 7 am on Saturday, October 30 to 5 pm Sunday, October 31.
The following Highway 417 ramp will be closed for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
- New date: The westbound off-ramp to Pinecrest Road will close at 11 pm on Monday, November 1 until summer 2023.
A section of Hunt Club Road at the Airport Parkway will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 7 am on Wednesday, November 3 until the end of January for Stage 2 LRT work. Visit: Hunt Club Road lane reductions starting November 3 for more information.
- Hunt Club Road eastbound will be closed with a detour in place from 7 pm Monday, November 1 to 6 am Tuesday, November 2.
- Hunt Club Road will be reduced to a single lane in each direction from 7 pm Tuesday, November 2 to 6 am Wednesday, November 3.
- Hunt Club Road eastbound will be reduced to a single lane daily from Wednesday, November 3 t Friday, November 5.
The following Airport Parkway ramps will be closed for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
- The northbound off-ramp to eastbound Hunt Club Road will be closed from 7 pm on Monday, November 1 to 6 am Tuesday, November 2.
- The northbound on ramp from westbound Hunt Club Road will be closed from 7 pm Tuesday, November 2 to 6 am Wednesday, November 3.
- The southbound on ramp from westbound Hunt Club Road will be closed from 7 pm Tuesday, November 2 to 6 am Wednesday, November 3.
- The southbound off-ramp to eastbound Hunt Club Road will be closed from 7 pm on Monday, November 1 until the end of January.
- The northbound on-ramp from eastbound Hunt Club Road will be closed from 7 pm on Tuesday, November 2 until the end of January.
- The northbound off-ramp to westbound Hunt Club Road will be closed from 7 am on Wednesday, November 3 until the end of January

- Colonel By Drive will be closed between Bronson Avenue Bridge and Hog’s Back Road between 11:30 am and 2:30 pm on Friday, November 5. On-ramp and off-ramp access at the Bronson Bridge will remain open.
- Colonel By Drive will be closed between Daly Avenue and Hawthorne Avenue between 5:30 am and 12:30 pm on Saturday, November 6.
