Traffic impacts in Ottawa beginning Friday, November 19

The following projects will impact Ottawa traffic:

• Highway 174 – The following ramps and lanes will close for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
  • The westbound off-ramp to Montreal Road is closed until 5:30 am on Monday, November 22. It will close again from 7 pm on Wednesday, November 24 to 5:30 am on Friday, November 26.
  • The westbound on-ramp from Montreal Road northbound is closed until 5:30 am on Monday, November 22. It will close again from 7 pm on Wednesday, November 24 to 5:30 am on Friday, November 26.
  • The eastbound on-ramp from Place d’Orléans Drive will close nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am beginning Tuesday, November 23 and ending the morning of Saturday, November 27.
  • The westbound on-ramp from northbound Montreal Road will close from 9 pm on Friday, November 19 to 5:30 am on Saturday, November 20.
  • Westbound lanes at the Trim Road interchange will close from 9 pm on Friday, November 19 to 5:30 am on Saturday, November 20.
  • The westbound off-ramp to Champlain Street will close nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am beginning Monday, November 22 and ending the morning of Wednesday, November 24.
  • The westbound on-ramp from southbound Tenth Line Road will close nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am beginning Monday, November 22 and ending the morning of Saturday, November 27.
  • The westbound off-ramp to Tenth Line Road will close nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am beginning Tuesday, November 23 and ending the morning of Thursday, November 25.
  • The eastbound off-ramp to Trim Road will close nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am beginning Thursday, November 25 and ending the morning of Saturday, November 27.
  • The eastbound off-ramp to Tenth Line Road will close nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am beginning Tuesday, November 23 and ending the morning of Saturday, November 27.
  • The eastbound on-ramp from Saint Joseph Boulevard, at Tenth Line Road, will close nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am beginning Tuesday, November 23 and ending the morning of Saturday, November 27.
• Highway 417 – The following ramps and lanes will close for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
  • The westbound on-ramp from northbound Pinecrest Road will close nightly from 11 pm to 5 am beginning Saturday, November 20 and ending the morning of Monday, November 22.
  • The westbound on-ramp from southbound Moodie Drive will close from 11 pm on Friday, November 19 to 5 am on Monday, November 22.
  • The eastbound on-ramp from southbound Moodie Drive will close nightly from 11 pm to 5 am beginning Monday, November 22 and ending the morning of Saturday, November 27.
• Hunt Club Road at Airport Parkway will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 7 pm on Friday, November 19 to mid-February 2022 for Stage 2 LRT work. The section from Airport Parkway to Daze Street will close nightly from 10 pm on Saturday, November 20 to 6 am on Monday, November 22.
• Airport Parkway – The following ramps will close from 7 pm on Friday, November 19 until mid-February 2022 for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
  • The northbound off-ramp to eastbound Hunt Club Road
  • The northbound on-ramp from westbound Hunt Club Road
  • The southbound on-ramp from westbound Hunt Club Road
  • The southbound off-ramp to eastbound Hunt Club Road
  • The northbound on-ramp from eastbound Hunt Club Road
  • The northbound off-ramp to westbound Hunt Club Road
• Richardson Side Road, between William Mooney Road and Cardevco Road, will close in both directions from 8 pm on Friday, November 19 to 6 am on Monday, November 22 for culvert replacement. A signed detour will be in place. Local access will be maintained for affected businesses. Pedestrian and cyclist access will also be maintained.
• Sierra Woods Drive, between Bearhill Road and Pleasant Creek Drive, will close from Monday, November 22 to Friday, December 3 for a culvert replacement. A signed detour will be in place.
• Phelan Road East, between Rideau Valley Drive and First Line Road, will close from Monday, November 29 to Friday, December 3 for culvert replacement. A signed detour will be in place. Local residents, cyclists and pedestrians will be accommodated through the construction site.
