Job description
We are looking to add an Administrative Assistant to a team here in Ottawa. We are searching for a well-developed, interpersonal skilled assistant, with a focus on high service commitment to clients, a pro-active mindset and an interest in the financial industry. The Administrative Assistant provides complete administrative support; develops, implements and maintains support systems while operating in a fast-paced, confidential and multi-tasking environment.
Duties Include:
• Receiving client inquiries on behalf of the Consultant and being proactive in appropriate course of action
• Contacting clients and scheduling appointments
• Maintain an up-to-date servicing schedule, initiate annual review appointments, and arrange follow up meetings
• Maintain client files, process transactions, ensure compliance procedures are completed and follow up action items
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience an asset • Post-secondary diploma/degree in a relevant business discipline is an asset
• Experience in the financial, insurance or mortgage industry is an asset
• Excellent attentiveness to detail, quick learner with strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Solid oral and written communication skills with an emphasis on excellent customer service
• Able to maintain focus in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with the ability to shift priorities as required
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows-based computer applications and overall excellent computer skills
This position is 15-20 hours a week to start with the potential to move to a full-time position with benefits. Wage may vary based on experience.
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Expected start date: 2022-01-03
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
