Save the date! Doors Open Ottawa will be back in a new hybrid format to celebrate its twentieth anniversary!

Doors Open Ottawa is a free annual event which celebrates Ottawa’s built heritage and fosters community pride. Over the past two decades, residents have had the opportunity to visit sites and buildings that are not regularly open to the public. This includes numerous embassies and functional buildings like the Lemieux Water Purification Plant and Cascades Recovery+.

This year’s Doors Open weekend on June 4 and 5 is scheduled to happen in a virtual/in-person hybrid format.

Building applications now open!

Are you a building owner who’s interested in participating in this year’s event? Applications are now open until Friday, February 18. You can choose between participating virtually, in-person, or a mix of the two, giving residents the option to choose how they’d like to visit your building.

If you’re interested in applying or learning more, visit ottawa.ca/doorsopen.
