The Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean to receive Key to the City of Ottawa on International Women’s Day

Join Mayor Jim Watson and Councillor Theresa Kavanagh, Council Liaison for Women and Gender Equity, at the Mayor’s annual International Women’s Day breakfast where he will present the Key to the City of Ottawa to the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean. Michaëlle Jean is being recognized for her illustrious and distinguished career as a journalist, 27th Governor General of Canada, UNESCO Special Envoy for Haiti and third Secretary General of La Francophonie.

Michaëlle Jean will also deliver the event’s keynote speech.
