There’s so much love in downtown Ottawa these days that even a second Valentine’s Day, on Monday, March 14, isn’t enough to contain it all. Some of it is new, some if has been here all along, and all of it makes downtown Ottawa a destination throughout the month of March.
Throw in March Break for most kids, St. Patrick’s Day and the first official day of spring and you’ve got a lot of reasons to smile in March, even though we are not quite done yet with COVID-19.
March events
Visit your local BIA website and follow the City of Ottawa social media accounts, to find out what’s happening in your favourite Ottawa neighbourhoods. Highlights include:
Ottawa Tourism has compiled a list of fun and affordable things to do downtown during the March Break. Maybe combine that downtown visit with an Ottawa Tourism Stay and save promotion that will remove $200 of your hotel stay in the month of March.
Remember…
When you come downtown for any reason in March, don’t forget:
At City Hall, you can skate on the Rink of Dreams, weather permitting, and then go inside to warm up with a visit to the City Hall Art Gallery, Karsh-Masson Gallery and Barbara Ann Scott Gallery. Regular business hours in effect.
Stay in touch with Ottawa Tourism, your local BIA and your favourite businesses on social media, to learn what else is happening in the coming months to get everyone sharing their #OttawaLove.
