在去年上涨6%的基础上,再次上涨了20% :flaming: :flaming: :flaming:

compare to the year before, and then this year is another 20% ...

we received the new accessment today. Last year was 22% up, this year is another 19%...:( :crying:
 
几天没看信箱,估计也被袭击到了。

In my case, the assessment value jumped 25%, I'm sure how much property tax increse I will get.:confused:
 
三月底的新房,今年的 Property Tax 官司还没开打呢. 明年的又来了, 说是按今年六月底市场估的价. 三个月比买价多了近十万. 涨幅近 40%.

想问大家都怎么处理的? 就那么交吗?
 
政府对property的估价和实际的买卖价有联系吗?

基本反应当时的市场价格,但是和买卖价格没有联系。它决定了地税:(
 
Estimate your property tax for year 2004

Tax rate for year 2003:

Municipal levy: .01173
Education levy: .00335
----------------------
.........Total: .01508

If there is no change in the tax rate, then the amount of property tax is directly propertional to the assessed value of our property, i.e. 20% increase in assessed value, 20% increase in property tax.
 
Any idea about how to fight with the MPAC?
Any advice would be appreciated.
