谁知道ROGER新闻服务器的IP地址

这两天ROGERS象是中了邪.经常就联不上网.

重新上网后,发现ROGERS的DNS SERVER好象出了问题.我不得不在POP3和SMTP放SERVER的IP地址.现在POP3和SMTP好了,可是NEWS的还不行.

我用的是
echo "66.185.95.131 proxy proxy.bloor.phub.net.cable.rogers.com" >> /etc/hosts
echo "24.253.156.38 news news.bloor.phub.net.cable.rogers.com" >> /etc/hosts
echo "66.185.95.101 pop pop.bloor.phub.net.cable.rogers.com" >> /etc/hosts
echo "66.185.95.99 smtp smtp.bloor.phub.net.cable.rogers.com" >> /etc/hosts


是不是IP错了,哪位最近用过ROGERS的NEWS GROUP,能否帮看看你能不能上,NEWS SERVER的IP是什么.多谢

# ping news

find out the address, and mv /etc/hosts.o back.

我试验了,没PING到.我还试过PING 正式主机.
PING news.bloor.phub.net.cable.rogers.com

奇怪,我的POP3和SMTP设的是REAL IP,EMAIL没问题.但是从PC处PING 那两个WORKING的POP3和SMTP SERVER IP地址,也没PING到(以前可以).

我刚换过一个ROUTER.ROUTER里哪个参数的差异会导致这个现象?

Thanks, your provided hostname works too.

I have got all settled.

Recently Rogers seems changing their FQDN(Fully Qualified Domain Names) policy. If some areas, the normal simplied server name(lie POP, SMTP, NNTP) can not be identified. People can get their local server setting by checking this link:

http://www.rogershelp.com/helper

In my case:

POP3 Server is : pop.flfrd.phub.net.cable.rogers.com
SMTP Server is: smtp.flfrd.phub.net.cable.rogers.com
NNTP Server is: nntp.flfrd.phub.net.cable.rogers.com
