For the first time in two years, Young at Art is back as an in-person exhibition at the Trinity Art Gallery at the Shenkman Arts Centre! The exhibition features artwork in a variety of mediums from local young artists between the ages of 12 and 19.
Young at Art is a professionally assessed art exhibition that has been held annually since 1996. It helps bring artwork from young artists into local galleries. Submitted artworks are reviewed by a selection committee of established and new artists from our community.
This exciting exhibition is running until Sunday, May 29. Can’t make it in-person? You can follow the exhibition online on the City’s Young at Art Instagram account beginning in June.
If this sparks your interest for next year, then applications for the 2023 Young at Art exhibition are expected to open in October 2022. Young artists interested in applying can keep an eye on ottawa.ca, or follow the Young at Art Instagram account.
