已为父母申请了移民,还能让他们以探亲身份先过来吗?

已为父母申请了移民,可实在忍受不了分别之苦, 所以想让他们在移民申请
期间以探亲身份先过来, 可以吗? 有哪位前辈这么作过,请不吝赐教.

直接去申请探亲签证，反正批不批的决定权不在你自己。

i think it's OK. They are seperate cases. Call CIC to confirm.

I think you need to state in the application form of visitor visa whether they're applying or have applied for canadian visas before. And you're supposed to tell the truth. While telling the truth will lead the visa officer to assess the intention to immigration in your parents' visitor visa application. So it may very well result in the rejection of the application since immigration intention is one of the major reasons for refusing visitor visa application. But you still can try if you have convining reasons.

我确实听说过申请移民办理过程中获得访问签证的。(不过那是三四年前。)
加拿大并不会因为单纯的‘移民倾向’而拒签访问签证，----我本人的同事就在移民案审理过程中先申请到留学签证来读书----访问者倒是有因‘非法移民倾向’而被据签的可能，对於已经合法递交移民申请的人，这种理由很难成立。

建议你别这样办 去年我在给父母办的时候就被拒了 理由是你在办理移民签证过程中再申请旅游（探亲）签证不合理 也就是如果你不符合移民的条件而这时你人在加拿大了 完全可以滞留在加国 所以移民官不给你发签证

唉,想想还要有将要两年的骨肉分离,心里只是不好受.难道这帮政府的人都没有亲人吗? 为什么他们不做些什么以减短申请时间呢?

For family union class, it wont take that long. It usuall take around one year. I totally understand what you are feeling now, but what else could we do. Be a little patient and good luck

Another way to deal with your problem: you can fly back to visit them, not a big deal as long as you have time and money......
