是不是租房给别人住都要交收入税,税率多少,
有没有例外。比如租给学生,和有困难领政府救济
的人。收费很低。

<HTML>No matter how you rent your rooms, you have to report the rent as income. The tax rate is dependent on how much your total income is. This is the law. But, if you want to take the chance, you do not have to report the rental income as Revenue Canada just randomly check records. The chance that you are selected for checking may be low.</HTML>
 
<HTML>Never take such chance. You're puting the rest of your life into trouble. You can claim your hydro, cable and any other reasonable expenses as cost to offset your rent income, and/or claim the income by low income family member to lower your tax dollars. For example, if your wife doesn't work, let she claim the rent.</HTML>

<HTML>我和你情况相同,我咨询过一个会计事务所的朋友,她说根本不用考虑这个问题,你的Roomate实际上是和你Share房租,他的钱并没有真正进入你的账户,所以不算你的收入。你只需要写上你自己一年所有花费的房租即可。比如,房租每月共$800, 你和你的Roomate各$400, 那么你一年的房租是$400*12=$4800, 而不是$800*12=$9600. 记住:在北美,没有一个Dollar会被Charge两次Tax. 这是别人给我说的。
当然,如果这房子是你自己的,那上面你个朋友说的则是正确的。</HTML>
