Local entrepreneurs recognized at the 2022 Immigrant Entrepreneur Awards.
This morning, three entrepreneurs were celebrated for their exceptional entrepreneurial achievements at the 2022 Immigrant Entrepreneur Awards.
The awards are presented annually to celebrate and recognize the success and contributions of our local immigrant entrepreneurs, while inspiring other new Canadians to start their own businesses.
This year’s award winners are:
This year’s awards were held at the TiECON Canada Conference and marks the return to in-person awards after they were held virtually in 2021 due to the pandemic. Residents were able to submit nominations for the awards in September, and final winners were selected through a panel of business and community leaders.
Since the Immigrant Entrepreneur Awards began in 2012, 40 local entrepreneurs have been recognized by the City of Ottawa.
