Prime Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify new marketing opportunities.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, programs and branding plans.
- Analyze and report on the performance and effectiveness of marketing activities.
- Collect, research and design marketing materials while ensuring compliance with brand guidelines.
- Write or oversee the writing of website content and press releases, ensuring regular and strategic distribution.
- Build relationships with new and existing clients and acquire new clients.
- Implement advertising and promotional campaigns.
- Attend external meetings and events to promote awareness, engagement and collaboration.
- Adhere to policies and procedures in all activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of all company and client information.
- Participate in the company's strategic planning process and provide feedback in the development of company policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as needed.
- Formal relevant work experience is not required, but preference will be given to those with relevant experience in business development, brand development, client management, and client acquisition.
- Graduates from relevant disciplines are encouraged to apply for this position.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, including editorial skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively within Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Polite, honest and trustworthy, demonstrating a good work ethic.
- Adaptable, able to take on new challenges.
- Ability to commute/relocate: Ottawa, Ontario. Reliably commute or plan to relocate prior to starting work.
- Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Additional certification or training is an asset.
- Fluent in English. Ability to speak Chinese (required).
