We invite applications from those with relevant experience in business development, brand development, client management, client acquisition, etc.
Prime Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify new marketing opportunities.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, programs and branding plans.
  • Analyze and report on the performance and effectiveness of marketing activities.
  • Collect, research and design marketing materials while ensuring compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Write or oversee the writing of website content and press releases, ensuring regular and strategic distribution.
  • Build relationships with new and existing clients and acquire new clients.
  • Implement advertising and promotional campaigns.
  • Attend external meetings and events to promote awareness, engagement and collaboration.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures in all activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company and client information.
  • Participate in the company's strategic planning process and provide feedback in the development of company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Formal relevant work experience is not required, but preference will be given to those with relevant experience in business development, brand development, client management, and client acquisition.
  • Graduates from relevant disciplines are encouraged to apply for this position.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, including editorial skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively within Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Polite, honest and trustworthy, demonstrating a good work ethic.
  • Adaptable, able to take on new challenges.
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Ottawa, Ontario. Reliably commute or plan to relocate prior to starting work.
Education.
  • Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Additional certification or training is an asset.
Languages:
  • Fluent in English. Ability to speak Chinese (required).

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
