You are right, at least $40 billion. History says when any asset appreciation accelerates out of bounds, such as two years of double digit appreciation for housing price and stock indexes in general, it would be the peak.

Yes indeed he is a genius. Anyone in his situation would have lost much more. He is still young though, and he can come back pretty much quickly (years of course) if he has learnt a lesson on and about his acquisition of twitter.
