RH Linux CD Player sucks

Version 9.0

Insert CD, player is automatically mounted, but no sound at all in 5 minutes. Bring up the 2nd CD player session, application crashes immediately.

5 min later, hear the music, without player panel.

Sucks very much.

Is there any goody 3rd party CD player available? :thanks: in advance.

linux现阶段做desktop还不是很成熟,RH已经放弃desktop市场
要想玩linux desktop,试试sandros

It's easy to get development tools and libraries in Linux, that's why I am using it. Desktop is not very important, but nice to have. I'm wondering how Linux vendors make profit from it? Free and nice, but few ppl will pay them...

If I got 2nd PC at home, definately Linux is the 1st choice. Windows is too expensive.

Solaris更加sucks,即使在Sparc平台上,Linux的表现也比Solaris好.Linux的崛起首先淘汰的就是UNIX类的东西
识相点的如IBM,投入Billions的钱砸进Linux
慢的像Sun,摇摆不定,试了一脚Linux又缩回去,如果不是以前有众多的用户基础,估计Sun早就死翘翘了
最惨的是像SGI这样的

在政府的一个项目里做过code portal, 同一套C程序在Corel Linux / P300(PC)上跑,居然比True64/ Alpha server上还快, Benchmark一出来, Compaq的人气晕了.
