Kanata licensed home daycare is looking for a helper for its summer program. In this role, you will assist in maintaining a healthy and safe environment; support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children, engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts, guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits, discuss with parents about the progress or problems of children, etc.
Salary：$15.5-18 per hour. Working hours: 10am-1pm; Location:; Kanata north area.
Required Qualifications:
1) A reliable and patient person, good at English speaking, reading and writing;
2) Love working with children aged 0-4;
3) Has related training certificate(such as Early Childhood Assistant certificate or childcare worker training certificate) would be considered an asset.
4) Current First Aid&CPR Level C and immunization record are required.
5) Police Record Check for the Vulnerable sector, valid within the last 6 months is required upon hire.
6) Familiar with Facebook, Instagram and other social media would be considered an asset.
