申请研究生，couse option,和thesis option区别？[问题]

thesis要有教授要你才行，一般要上6门课，然后就是要做thesis，读完了可以申请博士，course不行，没有人管，只管自己选课上课（一般8门），最后做个project就行。

couse option是没有教授给的钱的，一般不能做申请phd的基础。
录取要求上应该没什么区别。

of course, you have to have your paper published to be able to graduate, and also there is thesis defense at the end,pretty tough. Unless your english is really good, seldome Chinese people choose thesis over course-based.

真有这么难？
我有同学在美国读博士，第5年了，口语还是挺烂。也没见他说答辩难

没有这么严格的硕士
一般混两个会议的文章还是比较容易的
至於答辩有时候是很难,但是一般也没有不过的,就是活得难看点
也不会有太多问题的.

如果是博士,上述问题都要严格的多,但是硕士一般都能混下来
