economic alliance is officially set to abandon the US dollar for trade settlements. Moreover, the development aligns with recent de-dollarization efforts embraced by the bloc. As they continue to promote the use of local currencies internationally.

用什么货币不是问题。委内瑞拉可以明天废掉自己纸币用美元。欧盟可以用同一欧元。问题是手里的美元和美债。处理干净才不亏。
金砖这些国家从资源到人口足够大。完全自己玩的开。

我也感觉很惊悚，大概扫了一下，找不到主流媒体的报道。

问题不是穷国想搞“外汇储备”，而是很多国家的货币用处有限，拿着风险不小，相对美元而言

其实本质上是“中国的巨量贸易”起到了共同货币的作用。而且成员国起码在本币结算贸易范围内要实现贸易平衡。

美元的地位是布雷顿森林体系奠定的。美帝保证美元按照官价兑换黄金。土共如果保证50年内人民币可以按照官价兑换黄金，金砖国肯定会考虑用人民币结算以及将人民币作为储蓄货币。
