You can often get away with no duty, just do not lie about anything ever. Don't volunteer information, but always answer what you're asked truthfully. Often if you have no alcohol or tobacco to declare and just have a regular amount of grocery type items they don't care and you will slip through. People in border towns go across all the time.

I do a grocery trip every month or so, have declared hundreds of dollars, and never been charged duties/taxes.

海关官员对少量自用食品不多管也可能是没时间,不然真细找海关条例,也可能找出一条来收税
像那个上了CBC新闻的,说不定下次过境时就会被仔细检查,有被收税的可能了
