Feature story

Find fun and enriching activities for all ages this summer at our urban and rural facilities.

Starting Tuesday, April 30, browse register.ottawa.ca and create a wish list of your favourite programs and activities for the summer session.

Mark your calendars with these important registration dates:

  • Tuesday, May 14 at 9 pm:
    • Swimming lessons and swimming activities
  • Thursday, May 16 at 9 pm:
    • All other recreation, cultural and virtual activities
    • Orientation sessions for the Tony Graham Youth Workout Pass

Enjoy a wide range of recreational and cultural activities at the City’s museums, recreation complexes and parks in English or French. With indoor and outdoor features like art studios, gymnasiums, rinks, tennis and basketball courts, pools and splash pads, there’s an activity and a space for everyone to be active this summer.

Explore new frontiers with popular STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) programs. Or discover the specialized arts programs delivered by professional instructors at the Nepean Visual Arts Centre, Nepean Creative Arts Centre or Shenkman Arts Centre.

If you can’t attend in-person, consider a virtual program that strikes the right balance between keeping active and enjoying the comforts of home.

Tony Graham Youth Workout Pass

The Tony Graham Youth Workout Pass is back again this summer!

With the Tony Graham Youth Workout Pass, youth ages 13 to 17 will have free access to weight and cardio rooms at select recreation facilities from July 2 to August 31.

Starting Thursday, May 16, youth can register for orientation sessions taking place between June 3 and June 28 with their parent or guardian to learn more about the program and to obtain their workout pass.
