组委会感谢大家对第十一届加华杯乒乓球比赛的关注。这项由中国校友会发起，并与渥太华地区的多个乒乓球俱乐部合作的传统社区体育活动，旨在提倡健康的生活方式，促进乒乓球运动的推广和球员之间的联系和友谊。
现在报名已经截止，分组工作也已完成。根据报名情况，第一阶段的小组循环赛将由八个小组，每组六到七人进行。小组赛后产生的前三名，进入第二阶段A组（公开组）的淘汰赛，争夺本届比赛的冠、亚、季军和前8名；其余选手进入第二阶阶段B组，也按淘汰赛决出前一至四名。
报名中，还有九位巾帼女将。她们将在星期天分组进行小组循环和其后的淘汰赛，决出前一至四名的名次。
分组时，种子选手的决定是组委会根据对选手的球技的了解，经讨论协商产生的。非种子选手，则随机分配在各组中，并考虑同一俱乐部的球员之间尽可能回避等因素。分组的工作，尽可能做到公正和合理。小组分配的情况，见附录。
组委会也对两天比赛的日程做了规划，见附录。
按惯例和现实条件，第一阶段的小组循环赛，将由各组指定的组长负责实施和协调比赛的进程；组员之间相互裁判；以三局二胜制进行。第二阶段的淘汰赛，由组委会统一协调，并安排裁判，以五局三胜制进行。
为使比赛顺利进行，现将有关注意事项简述如下：
一. 所有选手必须务必按时到达比赛现场；提前换好运装；尽量拼车前往。

5月5日（星期日）下午三点（第二阶段淘汰赛）
二，在比赛现场尽量小声说话，避免不必要的走动
三. 关注所在组别的比赛进程，若逾时5分钟不出现在自己的比赛现场，将做弃权处理。
四. 发球必须上抛；并努力按国际乒联制定的规则进行比赛
另，比赛第一天预定的pizza, 将在下午6点左右送达。为记录比赛的精彩瞬间，组委会安排了专人拍照摄像，并会用于比赛后的报导和相关的多媒体中。对此若有顾虑者，请与组委会联系。

The 11th Jiahua Cup Table Tennis Tournament is just around the corner The organizing committee would like to thank everyone for their attention to the 11th Jiahua Cup Table Tennis Tournament in Ottawa. Initiated by the Ottawa Association of Chinese-Canadian University Alumni (OACCUA) and organized in collaboration with a number of table tennis clubs in the National Capital region, this traditional community sports activity aims to promote a healthy lifestyle, the popularity of table tennis and the connection and friendship between players.
Now that the registration is closed, the group work has been completed. Depending on the registration, the first stage of the group round-robin will be played by eight groups of six to seven people each. The top three players produced after the group stage will enter the knockout round of Group A (Open Group) in the second stage to compete for the champion, runner-up, third place and top 8 of this Tournament, while the rest of the players will enter Group B of the second stage and will also determine the top one to four according to the knockout round.
There are also nine female players registered. On Sunday, they will be divided into groups for a round-robin group and a knockout round to determine the top 1 to 4 places.
When grouping, the decision of seeding players is made by the organizing committee based on the understanding of the players' skills and through discussion and consultation. Unseeded players are randomly assigned to each group and are considered to avoid each other as much as possible between players from the same club. The work of the group should be as fair and reasonable as possible. See the Appendix for the assignment of 8 Groups.
The organizing committee has also planned the schedule of the two-day competition, as shown in the Appendix for day one’s.
According to past experience and current conditions, the first stage of the group round-robin will be carried out and coordinated by the group leader designated in ach group, who is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the progress of the game; and the team members will referee each other; and the game will be played in a best-of-three system. The second stage of the knockout round will be coordinated by the organizing committee and the referee will be arranged in a best-of-five system.
In order to make the event go smoothly, the relevant precautions are briefly described as follows:
1. All players must arrive on time; ready in playing outfits in advance; and carpool whenever possible:

2. try to speak quietly at the game site and avoid unnecessary walking-around.
3. Pay close attention to the progress of the game in your group, if you do not show up at your game site for 5 minutes overtime, you will be forfeited.
4. The serve must be thrown upwards, and strive to play according to the rules set by the ITTF
In addition, pizza pre-ordered on the first day of the competition will be delivered around 6 p.m. In order to record the wonderful moments of the competition, the organizing committee arranged photographer to take photos and videos, which will be used in the post-competition report and related multimedia. If you have any concerns about this, please contact the organizing committee.
