The Leger survey found that residents of Alberta were most likely to be open to the idea of becoming part of the U.S.—19 percent answered "Yes, I would" to the question "Would you or would you not like Canada to become the 51st state of the United States?"

However, almost three-quarters (74 percent) answered: "No, I would not."

加拿大比美国平均寿命高4岁，就凭这一点，加拿大人也不可能同意加入美国。

加入美国，成第51个州也不会让加拿大州人更富有，相反可能让加拿大州人更贫穷，因为签证原因，很多美国大公司都跑到安省BC 设公司，如果并入美国，这些条件也不具备。

看看美国每个州的平均GDP吧，像密西西比州人均GDP就比安省低，加入美国后，就是一个穷州，跟其他州比更穷，不可能摆除落后贫穷的，还会散失加拿大人所有人可以负担的的医疗和教育

安省按人均GDP，在美国也可以排倒数16位，不是很差了，如果去了美国，难道会升高会更富有？

这个民调很可疑，是政府工内部做的民调吧。对于PP来说宁为鸡首不为牛后，对普通韭菜来说难道宁为鸡后不为牛后吗？现在谈加入美帝不到时候，等经济崩溃，加元暴跌，国家破产的时候再问韭菜愿意还是不愿意加入美帝呢，现在还有谈判筹码，那时候可完全没有筹码了，韭菜一定要撞了墙才知道要回头的，呵呵，甭管现在嘴有多硬。
