The fact of truth is that the top 1% own ~40% of the stocks in the U.S. Speculation on stock and crypto markets leads to wealth disparity and yet again leads to resentment towards the system in the bottom half of the population. People will doubt the worthiness of their work: ordinary workers work hard every day, in and out, and struggle to raise their families. Others make millions overnight.
This may explain partially why people in the West download Red Note like crazy.
I am not outright commenting on the Western democratic-elected system or China's Chinese characteristic socialism here. Currently, in the West, we have a population with growing resentment toward their governments: Democrats or Republicans in the US, Conservatives or Liberals in Canada although they have never lived in a different system.
