If you want to change to a cheaper ADSL Internet service provider other than Sympatico and need a modem. This is a good deal. I have to sell it because my router only works with Ethernet modem.
To be honest, I have no idea. But since the ADSL technology is an international standard and the ISPs are using the equipments from the same vendors, I guess it should have a very good chance to work in Australia, as it does in Canada. You may want to check the Austalian ISP's website to make sure.
