Does anybody know:
1. what is CV boot?
2. how often should it be replaced? Or, how to tell if it needs to be replaced?
I had a free oil change yesterday, with a free check-up. The garage said the passenger side CV Boot needs to be replaced, and also a coolant flush and transmission flush is required. All pieces meal together that is another 400 bucks going to say goodbye to. Before I do that, just want to get a second opinion.
