First tried Memorex DVD-RW -- total crap. Wouldn't burn or erase. Traded them in for the Memorex DVD+RW. These worked great, both in terms of burning, and playback on my laptop as well as my standalone DVD player.

I got this Memorex media DVD+RW 4x at Sears of all places for 13.99 for 3. Got home and it is the same as the 4x +RW that came with my Lite-On 411s according to the media code from DVD Identifyer. Works fine so far.

Seems to burn fine using my Optorite DD0203 up until the 'lead out' at the end of the burn process. Nero then appears to stop doing anything and the burn never completes. I wasted the whole 3-pack like this! Now my computer just freezes when I put any of the disks in- I can't even erase the disks to try again! Don't waste your money!

Created a VHS home movie on the Sony DRU510A using this media...However, it would not recognize the DVD when inserted into my Sony DVP-S330 Player...I inserted the same DVD into my APEX AP-1500 and it played fine except it missed showing the first clip without rewinding. Media was burnt at 4X...
