冷不丁比较了一下美国和加拿大的工作机会，有感而发

刚刚到一个号称包罗万象的job hunting的网站上search了一个关键字，美国有500+个职位，加拿大却只有0个职位，靠，0个啊。庆幸的是现在可以离开加拿大了，后悔的是三年前的当初为什么没有早点去美国抢滩，我想就算H1B过去，现在也已经3年了，虽然绿卡下不来，至少也该有些基础了，现在这个时候去闯，真有些背水一战的味道。

加拿大的的确确是个养懒人的地方，将来退休的时候非常值得考虑的归宿。
工作没有了吃EI,EI没有了还可以去training,Training完了大不了还可以领wellfare......
种种政策让人总想着退路，就自然少了些许前进的动力，或者说是进取的精神。

又到了人生的一个要冲路口了，我想下面的决定也已经不难做出。。。

I agree, totally. So I won't be back until I am 55. The States is a good place, a gold mine. Go for it. Maybe see you in four yrs.

stop the dreaming. what kind of university cadada have? UT?
What kind of universities US have? who are you competeing with?
you may be no 1 in canada but not the top 100 in US. So even there
is 500 positions, your chance is still slim to none.

In general, States is obviously a better place to make money, while Canada is a better place to live.

If you have made multi-millions you don't have to wait until 55. You can return Canada tomorrow.

In term of the education, the tuition for Hardvard and MIT are close to 40K USD a year. You shall prepare 200K USD for each kid.

I want to go to Harvard business school, 40k ... but you don't have to be DARN good to get the scholarship. I can play football and make a fortune to cover some of the cost.

or make more than that (say $mm) so you just study for fun?
