黑兄请帮忙： 我的车power steering fluid level is a little lower than the required level, so I wanna pour some fluid into the reservior. The car manual says the right fluid is Dexron II, so I went to the dealer to buy this. The dealer told me the power steering fluid is same as ATF for my car, so I bought a Dexron III.
can You kindly explain why the transmission and power steering using the same fluid? I am a little confused.

P.S. the steering wheel is a little harder to steer than before, is this totally due to the lack of the fluid?
