滑雪俱乐部一月活动时间表

It is getting colder, more snow is coming. I reserved ski trips on Jan 17 (Sat), 24(Sat), 31(Sat) in Camp Fortune.

You can register for either of these trips now. The maximum is 60, first come first serve. The registration deadline is as follows:

Jan 17's trip: 6pm, Tuesday, Jan 13th.
Jan 24's trip: 6pm, Tuesday, Jan 20th.
Jan 31's trip: 6pm, Tuesday, Jan 27th.

Price for a group more than 40 is: $18 for liftticket. $10 for ski rentals. $25 for snowboard rentals, tax included.

If the group drops under 40, the lift ticket is $24, others are the same.

你误解了.这些都是whole day sking，票是从早上到晚上10点都有效，至于你什么时候想走由你自己决定。

If the weather is like this next weekend, is it fine to ski? I am a bit concerned.

去年我们也有过几次在这么冷的天气滑雪的经历。我觉得你只要身上穿暖些，把脸包上，带滑雪镜或其他眼镜就不会感到冷，因为你毕竟在运动。如果是初学者，就更不会感到冷，因为你全身都在使劲。

现在很多地方都在打折，如果没有脖套的话，最好买一个。今天我在Lingcon Field mall 看到脖套 sale for $1.99，，脖套有两种，一种是连帽子的，另一种不连。

总之，我觉得克服天气的不利是滑雪这项运动的一部分，也是它能吸引这么多人的原因之一。你不会被这点困难就吓退吧?

是啊, 我喜欢雪.

主要是从来没有在这么低的温度下滑过, 我同事上周四晚去CAMP FORTUNE滑了一次, 她说冰很多,不太安全.

我的经验是衣服还是适量, 否则出汗一多,又冻成冰反而更冷.

什么样的脖套? 我穿TURTLE-NECK能起到同样的作用吗? 怎么才能把脸包上呢, ZORRO'S MASK? COWBOYS' SCARF? :lookaroun

Turtle neck 即使是在一般的天气下滑雪也不够保暖。我说的脖套既能起到围巾的作用，又能把脸包上。那种连帽子的带上以后只露眼睛。

我个人偏好不连帽子的，因为天冷的话就拉到脸上，不冷就当围巾使。我一般滑雪不会穿太厚重的衣服。但重要的是包严，与外面的冷空气隔绝。

This morning, the forecast tells a high of -9 degree and light snow on Jan 17. If this turns to be true, then it is one of the best days for skiing.

Now the group is full for Jan 17's trip, and some people are on the waiting list. If you want to register Jan 24 or 31's trip, you are very welcomed to do so.

If you still want to go for this Sat's trip. I'll have to put you on waiting list. Pls give me yr phone number as you register, so I can notify you as soon as someone drops. It is normal that people drop during the week.
