Senior CAD Engineer

This position requires a recently acquired Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field. Resume submissions without a PhD will not be considered. Experience with physical design, layout synthesis or EDA is required. You must also possess:
- Extensive experience in C++ coding
- Genuine interest in the testing of complex software systems
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with computational geometry, graph theory, design for tests, and the use of foral methods for verification (preferred)
Validate and perform assessment on full-chip layout processing tools used in the critical steps of product development and manufacturing. You will:
- Perform initial design and ongoing maintenance for comprehensive test plans
- Design and code dedicated test software in C++ and scripting languages that will directly interface with an existing set of libraries for layout processing
