考场General TIPS
Road Test要特别留意事项：
1. 听清楚考牌官指示。
2. 试场路面高低不平，大路车辆比较多，小路有急湾，故小心车速不要太快或太慢。
3. 在十字路口闪绿灯，表示可以左转、直去及右转。如右转，单一盏闪红灯表示要把车完全停下，左右安全时才驶过。
4. 在跟着bus或大货车后面，切勿跟得太近，保持一个安全距离，除非是坏车或特
慢车辆，最好不要超越pass，要注意四周交通。
5. 学校bus要小心，在九时前及下午三时后都有校巴在区内行驶，如见车顶闪红灯，
前后交通都要停驶，让路给学童横过（停在20公尺后）。
6. 常靠右线行驶，左线是超越线，如果有三条行车线，也要靠最右线驾驶，除非考官
叫你不用换线。
7. 停牌 (Stop Sign)：考生必定要把车子完全停下，停的位置要标准，如看不清楚左右交通必要流前再看，安全下才通过，四面停牌就是先停先去。
8. 在平衡泊车(Parallel packing) 及上下斜坡泊车(Up hill or down hill parking) 做完后，在考生驶车离开前要注意看镜，打灯号，望盲
点才可驶出。
9. 如听到救伤车，警车及救火车响号，考生要看清楚它们从那方来，安全立刻把车驶
向右边停驶，让路通过。
10. 但要注意优先权，转湾时要小心行人，红灯右转一定要完全停在白线前看清楚行人及左面来的车辆才可右转。
11. 考试范围 包括:
（1）三点式掉头 (three point turn) （2）平衡泊车 （3）安全驾驶考验 （4)红绿灯左右转 （5）内街驾驶考验 （6）斜坡泊车 （7）换线，观察力及优先权
（8）回来时用九十度角前或后泊车。
12. 留心考牌官的指示，保持镇定，集中精神，同时留意行人、路牌、速度。交通情
况、优先权等，如果听不清楚考牌官的指示可再问，在没有紧急事故切不可突然停车，引起后面危险，在下雨天及雪地上车速可以减慢，但切勿太慢。

2. Control of Vehicle

Driving in traffic
Lane usage, signals, turning of head before pulling away from curbs or making lane changes. Proper signal distance before turning.
3. Merging and Land changes
Signals, Observation, Speed control. On and off highway (for G).
4. Traffic signs
How you obey them and how you drive through intersections, how you yield the right-of-way.
5. Steering
Turning from the proper lane to the proper lane. Was turn too wide or sharp.
6. Stopping
Stop Smoothly and at the right spot.
7. Backing
In a straight line, looking over your right shoulder, with complete control of the vehicle.
8. Speed control
Not just the posted speed limit, but did you adjust due to road conditions, weather, pedestrians, visible distance ahead.
9. Distance judging
Your distance from other cars and pedestrians, when following, or passing.
10. Courteousy
Do you respect the rights of others
11. Arm Signals
You might need to demonstrate the arm signals if necessary, however use the turn signal Lights during the test.
12. Hill Parking
You will be asked to demonstrate or explain hill parking (in most of the time).
13. Three Point Turn
You will be asked to demonstrate a three point turn.
14. Parallel Parking
You will be asked to demonstrate a parallel parking.

本人来加拿大之前从未开过车，去年上Achiever's Driving School学了理论课+10个小时。然后半年一直没摸车，今年3月份想考路试（当时还积雪，但教练说积雪也没什么，因为每个人都开的慢---不过我感觉三点倒车等时不容易判断路肩有些紧张）时，又找原来的学车教练学了5个小时，结果一次过。
我感觉我的学车教练不错，一个阿富汗来的半老头，但长得颇有点象肖恩、康纳利（上过Achiever's 的人可能记得，但他已经离开了，现在只教钟点）。最主要这人比较实在，钟点教车全是带你反复跑考试的线路，平行泊车什么的更是有不需技巧，只用死记硬背的口诀，同时你要有什么错误，他也是很严厉的---而且也是他第一次告诉我在Trembley考要容易过得多：）
关于通过路试的秘诀，其实我的老师主要强调的就是---
1）不要怕犯小错，因为你可以有好几次犯小错的机会（我考试时连发动引擎都紧张得忘了，考官说了两声才回过味；后来回来时停车也紧张得很，考官叫停我才知道该停了）
2）有关行车安全的大错一个都不能犯，比如Stop Sign，交通灯、路权、Blind Check等。。。错一次就完了。
3）在安全动作上一定要夸张过分，比如检查盲区时一定要恨不得把自己的头拧下来（就是感觉脖子特疼才行）；遇到没有All Way的Stop Sign时一定要把头夸张地向前伸出，左顾右盼，确认安全；过小十字路口一定要有察看两边情况的动作。。等等---这些小地方做好了，考官会留下你这个人特别负责小心的好印象，也不容易因动作不到位被扣分。
4）要选择车流最少的考试时间（中午12点左右）、车流最少的考试地点---显然，Walkley就很不合适，光前面那条主干线就够你忙的。而我考试的地方几乎就没什么车，只是有一大堆Stop Sign。
5）实地反复练习
本来不想这么说他好话，有拉皮条的嫌疑。不过近来看此地不少朋友对路试还很没底，同时还在那里准备去Walkley这个明显难的地方考试，这才想起谈谈自己的体会。不管怎样，选择考场还是别选择Walkley的好---那里据说太繁忙，容易让你紧张犯错。
当然他全是用英文教。
