two ways:
1. if you have finished medical school in china with a bachelor of medicine or above degree and have above 2 years of clinical experience, you are qualified to write the canadian or united states medical license examination (USMLE) to get a license and then apply for a residency position. after 5 years of residency, you have two options: to be a specialist to practise medicine in a hospital or to be a generalist which is a family doctor. it is theoretically feasible because you don't stand a good chance with a chinese medical degree.
2. to pass medical college application test (MCAT) to enter a medical school in north america. after 2 years of clinical course and 2 years residency, you get a MD. then write the write the canadian or united states medical license examination (USMLE) to get a license. you have two options: to be a specialist to practise medicine in a hospital or to be a generalist which is a family doctor. this option is highly recommended because with a north american MD degree, it's relatively easier to obtain a clinical position.
