最近大家小心这样的骗子（冒充警察）

今天有人打电话说是警察局的，让我捐款,有35$或者有45$的，开始我还以为出了什么事，后来我却认是捐款的，我就问这捐款是给谁用的，他开始说是给警察局用来修桥，排除路障之类的，我说这些都是警察局该近的职责，政府的前难道还不够吗？他又开始说要帮只一些贫困儿童参加夏令营，我一听这个就明白是在瞎扯蛋了，正在我想推拖的时候，对方却先把电话断了。

估计是个典型的骗子！
这年头，还有打着警察局的旗号来骗钱的，估计好多中国人不想惹麻烦，就把钱乖乖的送上门去了，加拿大的骗子真是无奇不有！大家千万当心！

It's from Police Association, not police bureau. This association is the similar thing like a union. It's not a government office. It protects policeman/policewomen's interest.

Recently there was a high profile case. Police received a phony 911 call and they arrested all black people in a restaurant except a white worker who was doing renovation work. This association quickly jumped out and said all police did was absolutely right. Check Ottawa Citizen.

The association in Toronto was selling a sticker for fund raising. You put the sticker on your windshield. Imagine if a police on the road catches you and he sees the sticker. The next guy doesn’t have it. Who is going to be fined?

It also helps community for some volunteer work but I don't think that's its main agenda.

我答应给他们捐钱了，但是因为他们寄来得回邮信封不是prepaid，而且限时必须在两天内寄出，因为实在没时间去邮局买邮票，没捐成，害我白浪费一张支票。

我也捐了，晚点没有关系，贴个邮票寄过去就可以。
我弄不明白为什么不能抵税？可能不算慈善机构。

现在都过了一周了,还行吗?
我和他说我还是学生,捐不了太多,所以是不是能抵税也无所谓.
之所以捐,是因为我喜欢警察,希望以后能做一名警察.既然能帮到他们,也就捐了.:blowzy:

可如果真的这样了,好像又有点不是味道.
