Smiths Falls

Fitzroy is a good place for Pike, if you want to fish for Bass, the best place is to Smiths Falls.
Actually, there are a lot of Bass, Walleye along Rideau Canal. The closet lock is near Calteron University, there are many bass but not very big (1-2pd,), if you are lucky, you can catch a 5 pd one.

take 416 south until Kemptville then off the highway to take region road 43 west, pass Merrickville keep going about 5 km, make a left turn at kilmarnock, drive until you reach a bridge.
