Dear international students,
It seems that there has been some confusion with the deadline for
registering and paying for the Sugar Bush trip. Just to let you know that
there are still 24 seats left but they're going fast and a second bus will
not be added! Don't miss out on this great Canadian tradition. See
information below.
Every spring when the days get a bit warmer, people flock to sugar bushes
to witness maple syrup being made, feast on pancakes drizzled with real
maple syrup, and sample maple taffy (maple syrup poured over snow). The
ISA is happy to announce that our next trip will be to Fulton's Pancake
House and Sugar Bush to experience all this - and more!
When? Friday, March 26 (bus leaving Residence Commons at 9:00 am,
returning at 2:00 pm)
How much? For $17, you will get bus transportation to and from the sugar
bush, a maple guided tour, a hayride, and maple taffy. For an extra $5 -
$9, you can also enjoy one of four great breakfasts complete with real
maple syrup. (This is one of the best parts about going to a sugar bush!).
Read below for the available breakfast options which MUST be paid for in
advance.
Breakfast Options:
$5.00 "Mini Stack" (2 Pancakes)
$9.00 "Stack" (4 Pancakes)
$8.00 "Momma's Breakfast" (2 Pancakes, 2 Sausage)
$8.50 "Junior Farmer's Breakfast" (1 Pancake, 1 Sausage (beef/pork
combination), Maple Baked Beans)
Tickets? There are a limited number of tickets available for this trip
on sale now at Student Life Services (501 University Centre). Payment is
due when you sign up. Please be sure to have exact cash ($17 PLUS the cost
of the breakfast that you select) as we do not have change. This trip is
sure to be a lot of fun, so don't miss out!
