I think the technical report is a little bit different from the essay in arts and social science. I mean the style, language, and format. I'm currently in the ASLL2000 which is related to the technical communication things.

Why don't you follow the textbook, cuz we do have an example in our own textbook. Or ask for help at writting tutorial.

what kind is the technical report, do you need expertise to write this paper? can you give me more details, i am studying social science, if the report is not quite technical, i might be able to do it.

As long as you are familiar or have experince in writing technical report specifically recommendation report, the technical part of the content is not too much of a problem. The main criteria for this job is to have fluent writing skill and time to devote in finding relevant information. If you are fairly confident about your writing skill, send me a QQH and I will explain in more detail for the specification of this report.
