已经有加国国籍了,到美国还要办护照吗?

想去探访亲戚. 刚拿到公民卡, 不知道过边境还要不要出示护照.

美国人对加拿大人的政策是这样的：

Entry of Citizens of Canada

Documents that may establish citizenship are: birth certificate, citizenship certificate, and passport. Under current procedures, all travelers may be required to present photo-identification. NOTE: A Canadian citizen arriving from outside the Western Hemisphere is required to present a passport. You'd better have Passport no matter driving or flying. I heard somebody is rejected without Passport when driving across the boarder, and myself passed without it when taking flight.

You'd better to have your passport if you want to come back on time. Reason: your skin is not white enough.

如果大家都懂得他们的所谓官方说法，就应该依法行事，永远不要妥协。
如果你先爬了，他们就好在欺负你了。

理论上，俺同意您的观点。但如果事先就知道有麻烦的可能，而不尽量避免麻烦，就是自找麻烦了。

上面几位的"所谓官方说法"，是针对加拿大公民的，而不是"华夏子孙"。如果为此斗争，也是以加拿大公民的身份。如果是拿着中国护照的"华夏子孙"，恐怕斗争也没用。
