JDS Layoff Today in Ottawa

JDS conducted another round of layoffs in Ottawa. The number is around 50 in the R&D section of the operations. The messages is that they have not finished the layoffs yet.

Know people who got impacted. I am not very sure about the number and estimated from the number of departments involved and packages given (rules about layoff of more than 50 people).

This is not a big surprise at all. JDS is said to close Ottawa operation all together.

昨天传了点精神, 不到半天就看见好几个人去找manager.
