Loblaws, Loeb, Costco and many other stores have non-error policy. If mistake is made, they will fully refund the money plus some sort of bonus freebie.
What they are really saying is that they are standing behind their employees, and they have the confidence of providing the highest level of service, worry-free service to their customers.
Of course it's not fair to ask Market 168 to do the same, at this point in time, due to its current size and the nature of such store, but it's certainly a direction where they could head to.
